There are many opinions on what, and where the Vampire Court is. This is mine, and after several years of play in it, around it, under it and on top of it. I think I have a pretty good idea of what I am talking about.
The Vampire Court
A rather odd clubThe Vampire Club is a nightclub, it is owned by the eccentric millionairess known as Lady Viper who is never seen out during the day, and host to some of the most exclusive parties on the west coast. It's motif and patronage make it unique throughout the world.
The club itself sits high atop a cliff located on the outskirts of Meridian California. It overlooks the ocean and even has a small boathouse down on the beach from which people arrive from time to time.
Originally a European Castle brought over from France by an as yet unidentified individual in the early part of the 20th century. The Castle was rebuilt upon the hilltop and then abandoned. Until the later years of the 1990's when Viper opened it as a nightclub.
For the most part the Vampire Court is ignored by the populace of Meridian. It is far enough from the city to never disturb any of the residents, and it's odd happenings are just written off as the rich indulging themselves. Most importantly, no law enforcement agency will respond to a call from the Court. After years of constant crank calls, and a sizable bribe from the proprietors, they have written it off as well.
The most frequented areas include, but are not limited to...
Main Hall: An incredibly large hall, which serves both as a bar, dance floor, an lounge for it's denizens, but also as a battleground in it's frequent brawls. It has a bar stocked with nearly every concoction known to man (and a few that aren't). Enough tables to seat nearly 200 customers, as well as couches for an additional 50 (and enough room for a dozen gargoyles in the rafters). A pool table (which hasn't been used since it was brought in by a Malkavian Customer in 1998), a large fireplace. It connects to nearly every other room in the place, and the dozen balconies, as well as having access to the indoor pool (installed by the Nosferatu of all people).
Upstairs: As far as anyone can tell the Lady Viper has a tremendous loathing for Drunk Driving, because nearly everyone who enters the Court is given on it's 200+ chambers to stay in as they see fit. These range from simple one room bedrooms, to multi-room suites redecorated as their patrons see fit. The screams heard coming from any one of these chambers are best left uninvestigated. The participants usually do not find interruptions the least bit funny.
Garden: Just down the steps from the many balconies, or through the doors on the left of the Main Hall is the Garden. An overgrown mess of shrubbery and odd Sculptures. It even has a maze in it's density. However lovers would be wary of walking too deep into it's mystery the garden opens directly into the nearby woods, and is often frequented by Lupines, as well as the pets of those present in the Court. Watch where you step.
Beach: Just over the cliff from the Court is the ocean. The beach encircles it on 2 sides and egress can be gained to it from the doors on the right of the Main Hall. Long romantic strolls on the sand often end up somewhere in the dunes under the moonlight. More than one newcomer has found himself tangled in discarded lingerie among them.
